Organza Upright Rusty Spinner/Mahogany Dun #16

Organza Upright Rusty Spinner/Mahogany Dun #16

  • 275

We discovered this fly several seasons ago. It is a pattern we get out of California that is marketed as an upright rusty spinner (yes, that happens before the wings spread flat when egg laying is complete) but it is killer when the Mahogany Duns begin to hatch in the late summer and autumn. Besides the Met, we have a guide friend in New Zealand that buys dozens of these from us for the South Island.
