Another Bob Quigly fly. The fly is based on a comparadun but uses a mix of hackle and z-lon for the wing, and the wing is ever so slightly cocked forward over the eye which Bob did to create a shadow effect under the fly. It is believed this shadow can trigger strikes from trout due to the presence of this during emergence. Anyway you look at it, this is a great fly and deserves a spot in your fly box.
